Mizan is a spend-management platform for AI. It brings your token usage and costs across every model provider — OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Mistral, and more — plus every AI subscription into a single dashboard, so you can see where the money goes, catch anomalies, and cut token waste.

This Privacy Policy explains how Mizan (“Mizan”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

  • Account information — such as your name and email address when you join our waitlist or sign in.
  • Usage and billing data — AI usage and cost data — token consumption, model usage, and AI subscriptions that you connect to the Service so that we can display and analyze your spend.
  • Technical data — basic information such as browser type and IP address, used to keep the Service secure and reliable.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
  • Display your usage and spending analytics.
  • Communicate with you about the Service and your account.
  • Keep the Service secure and comply with legal obligations.

Google user data

When you sign in with Google, we access basic profile information (such as your name and email address) to authenticate you and operate the Service.

If you choose to connect your Gmail account, we request read-only access to your email so that Mizan can find billing and invoice emails from your AI providers and subscriptions and turn them into spend analytics. We only process messages that relate to billing and invoices; we do not read, store, or use the rest of your mailbox, and we never send email on your behalf.

Mizan’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. You can disconnect your Google account at any time.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, hosting and database providers), only as needed and under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.

Data retention and security

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Your choices

You can access, update, or delete your information, and disconnect any connected accounts, by contacting us. You may also unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time.
